About the Club.
Mark Ward formed the Windy Ridge Riders Horse Club (WRRHC) in 1982 to provide fun activities for his riding students. The WRRHC is open to any and all horse enthusiasts, whether or not they ride at Windy Ridge.
Annual club activities include a weekend horse camping trip, four fun shows, riding in the Saint Paul Winter Carnival parades, a fall barn dance, and more. Members also have access to the club library of horse books and videos.
The club sponsors the Drill Team and the Junior Equestrian Team (JETs) which perform at the Washington County and Minnesota State Fairs.
Club meetings are held almost every third Tuesday of the month at 7:00pm. See the Calendar for upcoming dates & locations. The WRRHC is associated with the Windy Ridge Ranch but is a separate, nonprofit entity funded by member dues and fundraisers.
Election Results! Royalty and officers were elected at the WRRHC November 21st meeting. The 2008 Royalty are: Queen, Nicole Rucker (center); Princess, Ellie Voss (right), and Junior Princess, Samantha Skaar. See more photos on the Club Info page.
